Running
- Has run 21 marathons (3:07 PR), including 10 Boston Marathons,
all as a qualifier
- Has run the Mount Washington Road Race 10 times
- In 2007 was the Xterra National Trail Running Champion in his age
group
- Earned "mountain goat" designation by completing the USATF
New England Mountain running circuit (6 mountain races) in 2007, placing
3rd in his age group in the circuit
- Has run in the last 7 USA Mountain Running Championships, finishing
3rd in his age group at Mount Cranmore in 2011, 4th at Cranmore in
2007 and 4th at Mount Washington in 2012 and 5th in 2006
- Was on the team that won its age group at the BAA Half Marathon and
was second at the New Bedford Half Marathon, both in 2004
- Has run other major races, including the 5th Avenue Mile and Beach
to Beacon
